For web based applications the testbed of choice is the browser.
eValid is a complete test suite built into a browser. It includes functional,
regression, loading, and monitoring functions.
One of eValid's best best features is the ease with which is creates tests, so
that "scripting" is not required except, possibly, for tests that involve
unusual structures, AJAX synchronization, or which must synthesize multiple
data sets, etc.
Being in commercial development since 2001, with the initial eValid patent
isued in 2007, eValid is a stable and effective product suite, professionally
maintained and supported.
eValid is neither "free" nor is it "open source." Open source code may be
free but the programming and support effort is not. In practice programming
and support costs can be very high.
eValid represents a very high return on investment (ROI) at license prices
that are well below those of "big guys".
