Automated Build Testing

Postby sarichad » Fri Oct 09, 2009 4:37 pm

We are looking for a tool that will help us with the following:

1. Functional Testing
2. Load/Stress Testing
3. Regression Testing
4. Automated Build Testing

Looks like eValid can do the first 3 tasks. For the 4th task, i.e
automated build testing, can we automate the testing so that the scripts
can be called via ANT?

Also, Please let me know if you have more information on any of the
above tasks.

Thanks.

Thanks for writing.

ANY can be used to auto-execute eValid build-time playbacks
(regression verification) using the available command line
interface.

eValid has ~60 switches that control executions from the Windows
command line, described here:

http://www.e-Valid.com/Products/Documentation.9/Technical/interface.html

You should have not trouble launching eValid tests this
way, so that individual confirmation tests for each component
are run automatically after the build is done.
