The Address Field is the input area where you type in a URL for the browser to navigate to.
You ask about a search...we don't know quite what you mean, but read on because we think the answer we have will meet the need.
eValid has a specific command to
ValidateDocumentURL which will analyze whether the current URL showing in the Address Field matches what you specify in your script (which may be what it was when you recorded the script). If it does, your test PASSes; otherwise, it FAILs.
This works for a sub-string too. So if you want to confirm part of the URL you can do that too. eValid then "searches" the current URL for a substring match agains what is specified in your playback script command.
