How easy is it to have my test script(s) interact with the browser?

Actually, when eValid plays back a script it DOES interact with the browser.

The way it works is this. eValid records events inside the browser, and produces playback by sending those same events to the browser.

This very efficient, because the browser does all the work...you don't have to do anything except play the script or, in some rare cases, figure out how to send an event to a particular place in your web page.

But there is another kind of interaction with the browser which you may have in mind. Direct manipulation of the page DOM when it is active in the browser. Because of its unique architecture that is something that eValid is uniquely able to do as well.

Here is a page of examples of Testing with DOM Interactionsthat will give you some flavor of how this looks. Maybe even better is this page that describes DOM Technology Resources that eValid offers. So you can appreciate that eValid truly enables direct interaction with the DOM directly from your test script
