How accurate is the eValid's emulation of a mobile device

Postby SusanI » Tue Nov 12, 2013 11:55 am

I'd like to ask the question:

Is eValid's emulation of a mobile device accurate enough?

Thanks

Hey SusanI.

Welcome to our forum.

I'll try to answer your question:

When eValid is simulating a mobile device it does so by running with a User Agent String (UAS) that matches the browser in the mobile device.

It's important to appreciate, eValid does not emulate the device -- it emulates how the device interacts with the server.

The timing data and convent validations that eValid supplies is 100% based on what the SERVER sends back to the browser. So measurements of response time, or validations of delivered content are 100% accurate.
