eValid rendering Chrome question

Postby BillyO » Fri Dec 20, 2013 1:09 pm

Afternoon all. Happy Friday!

How close is the eValid rendering engine to the Chrome rendering engine.

In terms of behavior?

In terms of appearance?

Thanks

Hi BillyO. Thanks for posting your question.

Most of the rendering engines on the main browsers, IE, FireFox, Safari, Chrome, etc. are 99.99% identical in how they treat HTML.

Of course, that doesn't mean that there are not very large differences in rendering results, particularly if an HTML passage contains code that is specific to one particular browser.

(We're against that kind of thing, usually done to try to lock users into one particular browser. Instead of that, we're in favor of all applications running equally well.)
