Can eValid imitate a device that talks in chinese

Postby SamuelA » Wed Feb 26, 2014 3:08 pm

Afternoon.

eValid claims to be able to imitate any kind of device, but can it imitate a device that "speaks Chinese"?

Thanks

Thanks for posting SamuelA.

Yes, it can.

But you will need the eValid Internation Edition, eValid/I, to do this.

Both eValid (regular edition) and eValid/I have the capability of imitating any kind of browser, including those used in mobile devices

But only the eValid/I version can do that and also use the double-byte character sets (DBCS) capability.

Note that when eValid/I is used the script file is ALSO in DBCS...this may cause problem in your test suite if some scripts are in regular fonts and some include DBCS. But to overcome this, in the eValid/I version all scripts are "lifted" to be in DBCS mode automatically.
