More details into using eValid adaptive playback features

Postby LFarris » Thu Jul 13, 2017 8:39 am

Morning.

There has been recent posting regarding adaptive playback feature in eValid, specifically:

http://forum.evalid.biz/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=33404

Can you be more specific about what eValid actually does with this feature in your product?

I'd also like more material on this feature in eValid.

Thanks.

Not a problem, thanks for asking LFarris.

The adaptive playback implementation and behavior varies on a case by case (object type by object type) basis.

As a general rule preference in eValid adaptive playback actions is given to these factors, in the following decreasing priority:

The visible text on the screen.

The underlying case-sensitive URL or action type for the associated object.

The physical index/location of the object.

The actual properties of the object.

There are additional adaptive playback capabilities that are included in eValid that are not documented here because they involve automatic playback synchronization of web pages.

Those internal synchronizations mostly have to do with holding the playback back to assure that the page is fully loaded and available for action.

In every case when an adaptive playback action occurs it is reported in detail in the Event Log.

If you like more information, please contact us.
