Good Afternoon.

Does eValid have a way of controlling the size and details of the logfiles?

Sometimes I think it generates too much information!

Please help.

We hear ya KateEl.

Yes, sometimes these kinds of products generate TOO much output.

But, eValid has some options to "control the clutter"...

Here are the settings that affect the volume of material that goes into the logfiles:

If you choose "Simple" you get the bare minimum of detail. Detailed is -- fair warning -- VERY detailed.

Another thing you can do is choose "Purge in Playback" which will get rid of the prior logs when you start a playback.

At least then you never have more than the current playback record to contend with.

As a [completely] last resort you can name the logfiles to a "null file" on your machine.

Then eValid writes into empty space.

However, we don't recommend this.
