Fair question.

The PageMap feature was designed to meet the expected/specific needs of a web application tester.

The PageMap shows a subset of all of the data that's stuffed into the DOM.

By comparison, "view source" option available in the Google Chrome browser, you'll see all -- really ALL -- of what's there.

Testers, we believe, need only a subset; that is what governs what the PageMap shows.

Which is not to suggest that anything is left out, but the "Summary" section is where you'll find 99.99% of what you need.
