Why does eValid runs separate windows rather than use tabs?
Thanks for posting RDGeary.
There is no difference between having a separate window for each now window frame, vs. having them show up in the browser as separate tabs.
But in operational terms, there are some advantages.
For one thing, when you are working up tests you probably don't want to be switching between/among tabs.
Instead, we recommend this kind of screen layout: http://e-valid.com/Products/Documentati ... creen.html
This way, you see the critical parts of your test creation/debugging process:
The screen showing the rendered web page.
The PageMap that navigates between/among all of the DOM elements on the page
The current test script you are working on.
The suggested image is for a smallish screen; these days when you can have 4K images and huge screens you may wish to use the land area differently.
