License Matters

We have received the evalid licence in the form of link as well as CD.
Thanks for that.

I am trying to install the evalid in a fresh machine with the provided
licence key which has some 5 features.

Request you to clarify the following:

1) I hope the provided evalid.exe can be installed in multiple machines
along with the provided licence. But only one user can access the e-valid server at a
time.
Am I right ? (Since you have given a floating licence)

2) I think e-valid server will run in a machine with the licence (which
will be in LAN).
Another machine (for ex: e-valid client) in which e-valid is installed
can contact the
e-valid server at any time if this also in LAN. Am I right ?

3) Refer the attached topology ... Let me know whether this is correct ..
Machine1---- LAN network ----Machine2 (e-valid client connected to a
GUI which has to be tested)
(e-valid server)

Request you to answer this quickly so that we will complete the
installation & use it.

Thanks for writing,

Your description is almost right, except for the location
of the copy of evalid that can be used by multiple people.
Please see:

http://www.e-Valid.com/Products/License ... tions.html

When you have eValid installed on a machine that same license can
be used/accessed in a variety of ways by other users on your LAN,
described in detail here:

http://www.e-Valid.com/Products/License ... tions.html

What you seem to be describing is a multi-machine license,
which we call a Commercial License -- a somewhat different
structure that what you have purchased. See:

http://www.e-Valid.com/Products/License ... ption.html

From here what we need to have you do is decide on the
machine on which eValid is going to be installed, and
then use Help > Register Product to send us the machine details.
Once we receive that registration we will update the license
page to include the correct licenses for that hostname.
