eValid should run on a virtual machine without difficulty.

We have been using virtual machines (VMs) for some time -- primarily when we do server loading experiments with large numbers of BUs -- and everything works as you would expect.

When you install eValid on a VM you need to make sure that you put the license key in the right place. eValid wants to have access to the evalid.lic file at the time it starts up. But that is normal procedure except that in some cases with VMs we have seen that the machine image doesn't always sync up correctly with what eValid expects to find based on what is in the license file. If you have such a problem please contact the License Group for help.
