Have you considered the possibility that your firewall is stopping eValid from retrieving pages?
We have seen this kind of thing several times, and what is probably going on is that the firewall has to be "told" that the eValid browser is an OK program to request and delivery point for HTTP/S traffic. eValid has to be allowed to generate traffic, and the firewall needs to be told to NOT disallow eValid-prompted traffic.
So, before calling us for technical support, please check your firewall settings to make sure that the eValid browser has the freedom to visit pages. But if that doesn't do it, be sure to call us right away.
