My license key says it expires on a specific date

Good question...and the answer is that a key that states a date like N August will run until the end of the day on (N-1) August.
The date on the license key in eValid's mind is the date after which the license key is invalid.
Do if your key say 1 January, then that license will run right up to midnight on 31 December, but as soon as it's 1 January the license validity checker will say, sorry, time's up.
