We see you guys have some pretty cool patents that cover the main features of the eValid product? Do I have anything to worry about if I' just an ordinary user?

Thanks for asking.

No, indeed, you have nothing to worry about. eValid practices the patents (that's Patent Office speak, for actually DOING what the patent claims say), and we believe our product does it quite well. But we don't need to license our patents to ourselves because the patents are held by the same company.

As an eValid user, you are automatically granted a license to use the patent within the context of your work with eValid...not to worry about it beyond that.

To be more precise, here the language in the End User eValid (SR) -- SOFTWARE PRODUCT LICENSE AGREEMENT -- EULA that mentions the eValid patents and the legal language there grants you rights of use without worry.

A final note: we do have a program whereby eValid components and facilities can be incorporated into your OWN web testing product, but this does require a separate agreement in order to be in compliance relative to the patent portfolio. For this, give us a call and we are happy to discuss the details.
