Using eValid to test a website in Hindi

Postby JasperH » Mon Feb 24, 2014 3:43 pm

Afternoon:

I'm a current eValid trial user.

I need to test a website that use Hindi, but the EVAL copy I download doesn't seem to handle that?

Can you help?

Thanks

Hello JasperH.

You're correct. The EVAL/EVAUTO version that you can download for evaluation purposes does not have the double-byte character set (DBCS) support.

For Hinti (and other DBCS fonts) you will need to use the eValid International Edition, which has full DBCS support.

What we recommend is to first use eValid on a non-DBCS application to confirm the functionality. Then you can make the appropriate arrangements with eValid's licensing team to get the International Edition, eValid/I, installed.
