At this moment, we are planning to buy a single license only and I would prfer if it is of the Enterprise kind, that would be accessible across LAN
and would allow easy extension to multiple licenses mode later.

Could you please verify my understanding of enterprise license as mentioned
in para above, and also share the price of one enterprise license at the
earliest.

Thanks for writing.

Yes, an EPRISE license enables a specified number of users in a Terminal
Services system to use eValid across the LAN. In the case of an
EPRISE01 (which is quoted below) then you will have the ability
for anyone on the LAN who has a Terminal Services account to use
eValid, but a second person trying for eValid at the same time
would need to wait until the first user finishes up.

Thanks for the update. The EPRISE01 license should suit us fine; I am assuming that by license being in Terminal Services system, you are referring to the system having telnet facility by which other systems can
Connect to this system having evalid. Also explain, what would be mode of communication (protocol used etc.) between the system under test and system having eValid license, assuming both are on LAN.

Could you pls also share the price of EPRISE01?

Yes, the EPRISE01 license works with Windows Terminal Services.

Actually, I think you RDC to the machine where eVlaid is installed
with the EPRISE01 license. Each registered user has his own
workspace and the local keyboard/mouse/screen works on the
machine remotely, over the LAN.

We have tried telnet into the WTS machine and eValid runs in
batch mode but with telnet you have no screen...so telnet is
somewhat limited.

eValid is a browser, so when eValid is the test driver, and
the system under test is a web application served locally
on the LAN the interconnect is HTTP/s. Remember, eValid is
a browser so tests run on it are the same as if a human
user was using the browser...the server can't tell the
difference.
