The only difference is that a sub-window opened under the eValid parent window won't have the navigation controls that eValid has.
When you launch eValid from command line and use the
-AGENT parameter to specify a particular UserAgentString, then the entire eValid instance is going to be using that particular UserAgentString.
When you use the
SetUserAgent command before opening a sub-window then only that sub-window will reflect the non-standard UserAgentStrring.
You might note that in the latter case you could do two (or more) sub-window launches so that you could have two (or more) windows on your dekstop each of which is pretending to the server to be a different type of browser. Just may be handy to know sometime.
