Actually JQuery scores
very high in "easy to test" and "well-behaved JavaScript" -- compared with some other GUI development environments we have worked with [and which will go unnamed].
Some of the problems that JQuery doesn't seem to have include: variable id tags, buggy JavaScript support libraries, inconsistent method and/or event naming, and behavior inconsistencies.
The tests we've run with applications that use JQuery appear to be reliable and consistent. Also, the JQuery JavaScript appears to be well optimized and runs quickly.
