At what level does eValid support the DOM? I mean, does eValid support the HTML 4.01 Specification?

Actually, eValid tracks the DOM level that is supported by the Trident Rendering Engine (MSHTML) that is incorporated in the co-installed IE browser. eValid "borrows" those DLLs when it launches; that is why we sometimes refer to eValid as an IE clone.

So if IE 8 supports HTML 4.01, then so will eValid. No problem.

You need not worry about having HTML that is unsupported by eValid in a way that will give you bad results.
