eValid vs Selenium

We are planning to make a decision about the testing software already
during this month. We have reviewed several software but none of them
hasn't had 100% functionality.

Our testing partner suggested using Selenium but we would have received
only about 30% functionality so we decided to continue looking for a
better solution. Once we do find a solution it would be used both by us
and by our testing partner.

I've reserved today and tomorrow for testing eValid which should be
enough to give me a picture about its abilities. I will contact you if I
run into problems or need some more information about the product.

Thanks for the update. The above is not uncommon...

It would be unwise to claim 100% but I'm betting eValid can do
99.999% of what you need. But see below for our guarantee...

There are, as you maybe have already seen, several alternative
modes for recording actions: object (natural), mouseover, application
mode, etc.

Which method you use depends on the details of the site you're
testing...and the "recording protocol" that develops may even
have different "rules" for different parts of an application.

Accordingly, we have very high confidence in eValid's ability to play back
tests of ANY website, and we even have a 100% guarantee of this:

If you DO hit a trouble spot please give us the opportunity to
make a recording that works correctly...and make good on our
100% guarantee...

By the way, can you say if you have one testing partner or does
that vary by the contract/application. I looked on the website
and didn't find a specific firm. I ask because we might be
able to point to a successful installation at the firm.
