Selenium and Javascript Problem

Postby unsigned » Mon May 12, 2008 3:27 pm

Hi

Well, neither one didn't do one functionality: recognizing a new window
from a different domain. I know Selenium cannot do this because it uses
javascript injection, can't tell why this is happening with eValid. Our
engineers did not like eValid scripting, probably because they needed to
learned something new :) Anyway, if I'll get a response from our client
(and it's not gonna take ages..like usually does) I'll contact you.

Thanks for posting.

Hm, eValid ought to have no problem opening a new window
from a different domain. We know the "same domain policy"
that applies to JS executions, but eValid does NOT do
these things with JS -- everything in eValid is native
to the browser.

Could be you needed to record with a different mode...but
I'm confident that we can get that kind of new window from
a different domain to work OK.

Regarding the eValid scripting question, the eValid Programmatic
Interface (EPI) is described in detail in this this introductory page:

I'm not sure if this is right for you but I think this
certainly will overcome people's complaints about eValid's
simple script structure.
