My app doesn't display well on eValid's testing browser?
What gives?
Thanks for asking you question JimmyP.
eValid is a functional clone of the IE browser and how it displays pages is dependent on the current version of IE that you have loaded in your machine.
If you are running IE8, eValid displays like IE8. Same for IE9 and IE10 and IE11.
This happens because eValid uses the underlying libraries associated with the IE that is installed on your machine.
Whichever version that is, that's the one eValid will use to process your web application.
This means if you have IE8 installed, and are looking at the page in question with (for example) Chrome, then you may see some differences.
That's because IE8's is different than the one in Chrome.
Please try installing the latest IE version that your environment will handle, and then see if the results are different.
We would be quite surprised if they were!
