Can eValid help me?

We have a new restful service that runs on a new gateway to support a tablet, and we need to test that?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Yes. And thanks for asking.

From what you've said, what you want to know about is the performance of your new gateway as veiwed from the perspective of a tablet.

Here is what we recommend:

(1) Set up eValid to behave like the tablet. You can do this with eValid's ability to imitate other browsers by adjusting the user agent string.

Here is how to do that:

(2) Test away! Your server will not know the difference...it will send material to eValid as if it is your tablet.

Record tests, validate data, inspect the page, save images. All of eValids features are there.

(3) Note that how that information is generated, e.g. by restful services, doesn't matter. What matters is what is seen by the tablet (which is what eValid will be analyzing if you disguise it as the tablet in question).
