How easy does eValid support frames

Postby JessieS » Thu Sep 25, 2014 3:56 pm

Afternoon eValid.

I just found out my favorite testing tool...well, OK, it's webdriver... doesn't support frames.

How does eValid support frames?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for asking JessieS.

Yes, eValid certainly supports frames...and iframes as well.

eValid treats frames and iframes equally and all cases are handled.

Basically you have two situations: with and without frames. Frames are handled by their actual names or by their ordinal numbers.

Here is how eValid handles frame naming:

Each command has a "frame_path" that specifies the frame, or not.

Here is the manual page:

http://www.e-valid.com/Products/Documen ... _path.html

As you can see there is an "extra argument" pinned onto the back of each eValid command that specifies the frame path, if any.
