Thank you for asking DRemmic.
eValid uses the underlying IE rendering engine that it picks up from the co-installed IE browser.
For example, if you are running IE8, then eValid behaves like IE8. If you are running IE10, it behaves like IE10.
But when eValid is trying to emulate (or imitate or simulate) a non-IE browser eValid simply declares itself to BE the other browser.
It does this by modifying the UAS. See this manual page:
