How can you be so sure that eValid faithfully emulates an IE browser?

The answer to this lies in the internal architecture of eValid.

First, eValid is not a plugin or a wrap-around. The browser functions in eValid are done by using the DLLs form the underlying IE browser. These functionalities are often called the "Trident Rendering Engine".

Second, the "system overhead" that eValid adds on top of give the tester complete control of the browser session is intentionally kept low, to assure the accuracy of the results. Our target for efficience is to add no more than 1 part in 1,000 -- so that accuracy is assured to the 0.1% level.

Lastly, as you may know, the eValid browser "adapts" to the behavior of the underlying IE engine by using ITS DLLs. So the way eValid browses and renders pages is identical to the the way that IE does it.
