Why can't eValid single step feature work backwards?

Why can't eValid single step feature work backwards?

Postby Daniella » Thu Jul 23, 2015 3:44 pm

Afternoon.

The single-step mode in eValid is super, but why don't you have the ability to go backwards?

That would be wonderful.

Thanks

Interesting post Daniella.

This is like trying to put the toothpaste back in the tube.

Once a script runs, the internal state of the browser changes.

Unless YOU can figure out a way to make the computer run backwards, you're stuck with the hard facts of state entropy.

State changes only go forward.

Sorry, nice try. But no, we are not going to try to figure out how to change the rules of physics -- however desirable that might be -- just to let you generally "undo" the actions of a browser.

But, if you can figure it out, give us a call...we are interested in talking to you!
