Can eValid be used as a web page editor?
Is this idea to utilize eValid is such a way feasible?
Thanks
A great question, thanks for asking SebTom.
Indeed, the technology used in eValid often suggest that it would be nice to have editing capabilities, and some people have suggested that.
However, eValid is a test engine and as such it's goal should never be to do anything to a web page that is being tested that would affect the validity of test being run by constructively modifying that very same page.
So, bottom line, having eValid capable of editing pages would not be in keeping with its nature and purpose.
On the other hand, having convenient access to the content of a page may indeed help web developers understand how a page is organized.
See this documentation page, about how eValid supports DOM analysis, for example:

http://www.e-valid.com/Products/Documen ... mmary.htmlBut, that falls far short of providing for page editing.
