Other types of waits

Discussion of the technology underlying the eValid solution.

Other types of waits

Postby WDavis » Wed Apr 05, 2017 11:07 am

Hello.

I was reading the interesting post for waits for WebDriver and I like to ask the following:

What other kinds of waits are there in eValid?

Thanks

Thanks for asking WDavis.

You mean this article:

http://toolsqa.com/selenium-webdriver/i ... uent-wait/

In eValid what is called there an "Implicit Wait" is built into the eValid system.

Basically, eValid waits for a set of signals to arrive and they goes on.

There is an upper bound on how long; the user can set this.

In eValid the regular Wait command is the same as an Explicit Wait, except in the case of eValid the Wait command value is multiplied by the current wait time multiplier, which parameter you can set for the current playback or which you can vary during playback if you want to.
