Is there a way to accomplish it without using the EPI? We don't have any C++ developers at our disposal.

The design constraint was, no programming in the script language...so no there is no if...while...case logic.

On the other hand, some users get the sam effect with the flags.

eValid, during playback, has ERROR, WARNING, ALARM and TIMEOUT flags that can be used to adjust the flow of control as described here:
