Offer DOM-based Synchronization

Do any other products that you know of offer DOM-based synchronization?

The ability of eValid to run a DOM-based playback synchronization as a single command is, as far as we can tell, unique.

There are JavaScript based playback engines available in which you can program such a loop, but in our view that doesn't count becuase (a) you have to be a programmer at some level to do the program, and (b) when that program runs there is a continuing question of how that JavaScript execution interfers with any underlying JavaScript executions that are supporting an AJAX operation.

On this last point, you really only need to do a DOM synchronization when you are testing an AJAX application -- otherwise any regular non-DOM-based synchronization method will probably work OK. Yet, if it is an AJAX application, then doing the synchronization with JavaScript creates a contention on the single-threaded JavaScript engine.

The bottom line is, due to eValid's unique architecture as a fully test enabled browser that does NOT interfere with JavaScript operation in any way, the "sync on DOM value" commands in eValid are unique.
