Two separate instances of eValid really are two separate processes, relative to the operating system. So all of the rules of process communication (and process isolation) apply.
The resources that are always shared in a Windows system are (1) the desktop and (2) the cache. eValid has a mechanism -- the
Lock/Unlock commands -- that provide a mutual exclusion capability, so that if you write your scripts the right way they will respect each others' exclusive use of the desktop.
What is automatically shared between two eValid isntances is what is held in the registry, that is, all of the eValid settings and options. Unless, of course, you specify a different execution profile for each eValid instance.
