AJAX Playback

The notion of running mutliple browser is super, and your scaling figures look good.

But my question is, what about an AJAX playback. If you run a bunch of them in parallel don't you run out of machine capacity real fast? What's your experience?

Yes, eValid scales quite well at 100:1 or more depending on how powerful an Windows OS you have and how much RAM you have.

Actually, for most AJAX applications there really is no problem with scaling to that level. You might think that you run out of CPU power when you have 100's of eValid's running in parallel, but we had one experiment recently with that many and the max CPU utilization was about 25%...

That having been said, however, we do need to point out that running 100's of eValid copies DOES require a lot of RAM. In fact, that's what you run out of first, RAM. But the way we see it, with RAM going for about $50/GByte (or even less) it is really simple to add RAM...and it's a good investment considering the degree of reality you get with runnin REAL browsers.
