Regarding the latest Blog posting

Postby TaliaW » Thu Nov 14, 2013 11:56 am

Afternoon:

Are the changes to license levels that your company mentioned
in your recent BLOG going to affect me?

Why'd you do it?

Thanks

Hello TaliaW and thanks for join the eValid forum.

These changes were done to normalize the levels of
STAN, PROF, and PAGEMAP where the functionality was
not as consistently distributed as they could be.

Now if you have a PAGEMAP key it will activate all
of the DOM processing facilities. If you don't need
that then you can have just a PROF key.

No more mixups means better reliability.

Hey Stephen.

Yes. It quite related to the initial poster.

We are bring out the Community Edition any day now.

In a nutshell, the Community Edition is FREE -- no charge
whatsoever. The only requirement is that you register the
product and that will require the user to identify himself
completely. That's only fair, isn't it.

A registered Community Edition license will run for 1 year,
locked to a particular machine.

The Community Edition has a number of important features
enabled -- enough to do MOST web testing and analysis tasks.

Some of the more advanced features of eValid are not included
in the Community Edition. To use those you'll need either a
Professional License or an Enterprise License.
