Will eValid work with addon's installed

Postby DeborahJ » Thu Mar 05, 2015 2:31 pm

Hey eValid people.

I need the answer ASAP!

Can eValid work with addon's installed and still run OK?

What's the story?

Thanks a bunch!

Thanks for posting DeborahJ.

When you run eValid you are running a full-featured browser, just like running IE.

While the face of the browser may look slightly different, inside you are running an IE browser.

To illustrate this, when you have eValid running take a look at the page contents.

It'll all be there, as shown here:

As a result of the architecture of eValid, if you DO have an add-on or plug-in that your application absolutely has to have, then you should be able to do this without difficulty.

(We have not heard any complaints at all about bad interactions, but that is of course no guarantee!)

Fair warning: if you have an addon that tries to do functional test automation you might have some interesting conflicts with the way eValid operates.
