Can eValid analyze webpage speed

Use and application of the eValid server loading (LoadTest) capability. And in the cloud computing context for monitoring and loading.

Can eValid analyze webpage speed

Hello.

A few questions.

Does eValid have a simple way to extract and analyze page speed?

What's the story here?

Cheers

Thanks for asking BMackie.

It turns out that eValid has a very simple way to show page speed, as described in this manual page:

http://www.evalid.us/Products/Documenta ... ocess.html?

The basic idea is to have a playback script that does just a single page.

Then, using the "detailed timings" option, and after running the script, you can have eValid generate a chart that shows the individual components of the page and how long each one took to download.

This is most useful if you are trying -- as many performance enhancement projects try to do -- to find the slowest components in a page so you can speed them up (by making them smaller, or breaking them into parts).

Have fun with this...
