Using eValid to test mobile devices

How to apply eValid to functional testing of web applications.

Using eValid to test mobile devices

Postby RGeary » Mon Jul 31, 2017 1:27 pm

Hi all!

I am interested in automation testing on mobiles devices.

And what should I use.

As I start researching and this will help me to move in the right direction?

Thanks

Good question RGeary.

First, you should recognize the fundamental difference between testing mobile devices and testing web applications that run ON mobile devices.

eValid is intended for the second option: testing web applications.

The key to all of these neat functions is that eValid can easily imitate (some would say, emulate) ANY browser type for which you know the appropriate user agent string.

Here is a good introduction to how eValid does things toward this goal and also provides the commands involved:

Enjoy your testing!
