We normally start with the basic script, and make sure it is exactly right.
Then we add in OnError and OnTimeOut commands in the
right spots to make sure the slowdowns don't cause a problem
and are well-reported.
Then perhaps we put in needed script-specific play values...

inserted into a script to control a variety of playback parameters,

Then the scheduler gets set up, and yes, an outer bound there is
an extra insurance.
